We offer a comprehensive class using Minnesota DNR firearms safety slideshow and guidelines. Classes are taught in April and August each year with 3 - 5 other experienced instructors. This class is offered to 11+ year olds and older as anyone born after 1979 must have a certificate to hunt in Minnesota and often times out of state.

We emphasize safety and knowledge of Minnesota DNR laws and firearms in general.

Classes are held at Rockford Community Center with big clean classrooms - enough to accomodate parents who would like to sit though classes with their children. Field day is at Delano Sportmans Club where their skills will be tested. Shooting at range with 22 cal. rifles supplied by us including ammunition. A compass course that will teach them basics of finding their way in and out. A simulated hunt with small group testing muzzle control and skills they have learned is class.
